Got a couple of unexpected guests? Pull out the inflatable Coleman 4-in-1 Quickbed and you can comfortably sleep one or two friends or family members. As its name implies, the 4-in-1 Quickbed is actually four beds in one. You can use the two mattresses individually as two twin beds, zip them together to create a king-sized bed, or zip, stack, and snap them together and construct a twin double-high bed. The versatile design is great for people who have lots of overnight company, as you can easily accommodate married couples, single friends, or a couple of kids. In addition, the 4-in-1 Quickbed is protected by Coleman's AirTight system, which features a double-lock valve that locks in air twice, guaranteeing a leak-proof performance through the years. No more waking up on the cold, hard ground after a night of slow air release. The bed also features Coleman's exclusive heavy-duty PVC formula, which is 15 percent more puncture-resistant than the competition. And campers who are pressed for time will appreciate the time-saving Wrap 'n' Roll construction--just roll the mattresses into the attached carrier, tie them, and transport them.

Other features include a construction easy to inflate and deflate; a soft suede top for luxurious comfort; and a sturdy coil design that adds more strength, firmness, and comfort than beam construction. Designed to fit either two standard twin sheets or one king-sized sheet, the mattresses measure 74 by 5 by 39 inches (W x H x D) each.

The Wrap 'n' Roll construction lets you quickly pick up the bed and go.
About Coleman
More than 100 years ago, a young man with an entrepreneurial spirit and a better idea began manufacturing lanterns in Wichita, Kansas. His name was W.C. Coleman, and the company he founded would change life in America. A man plagued with such poor vision he sometimes had to ask classmates to read aloud to him, Coleman saw a brilliant light in 1900 in a drugstore window that stopped him in his tracks. He inquired about the light inside and discovered he was able to read even the small print on a medicine bottle by the illumination. The lamps had mantles, not wicks, and were fueled by gasoline under pressure instead of coal oil. Soon afterward, Coleman started a lighting service that offered a "no light, no pay" clause--a big step forward for merchants who were burned by inferior products that rarely worked--and drew substantial interest from businesses that wanted to keep their lights on after dark.

In the ensuing years, Coleman expanded its product line well beyond lanterns. The company's current catalog is thick with products that make spending time outdoors a pleasure. There are coolers that keep food and drinks cold for days on end, comfortable airbeds that won't deflate during the night, a complete line of LED lights that last for years, powerful portable grills that cook with an authentic open-grill flame, and much, much more. Coleman has truly fashioned much of our outdoor camping experience, and expects to do so for generations to come.

Product Description

The 4-N-1 Quickbed is durably constructed of heavy-duty, puncture-resistant PVC, with a soft suede top for extra comfort. The Quickbed is easy to inflate and deflate, thanks to Coleman's extra-wide Advanced Double Lock Valve. 5.0 out of 5 stars Best. Purchase. Ever. December 16, 2007
By K V
I don't normally review things, but this was such a good purchase that I can't resist...

I recently moved about 400 miles and into a big city apartment. I didn't have a lot of furniture, so it seemed kind of silly to rent a moving van just for a bed. Finally, after looking at a million different styles, I decided I'd try this inflatable bed. It's compact, so I could just squeeze it into the car with the rest of the luggage. I wouldn't have to fight to get a bed frame and mattress up the apartment stairs. Plus, I figured if I hated it, I could find a 'real' bed at some point.

I LOVE this bed. I've been sleeping on it every night for over 6 weeks and have never (yet) had to refill the air in it. Separating the twin beds is easy, and comes in handy when guests come visit.

One tiny tiny con... The very first time you lay on this bed, it is awkward and uncomfortable. I'm not gonna lie. However, after about 30 minutes, you get used to the 'water bed' feeling, and the whole bed feels insanely comfortable. It's like it takes the bed (or the PVC material) 30 minutes or so to 'relax'... Also, it did not come with a pump, so I had to buy one for 15.99. *shrugs*

I would never go back to a 'regular' bed. This bed can be an elevated twin bed, a king size, two twins, compacts down to about a 10 pound parcel with a carrying strap, is as comfortable as a spring mattress and cost me forty bucks.

Highly recommended.

*EDIT*-- June 11th 2008. Still sleeping on the bed nightly, *still* working wonderfully! The 'top' mattress (when stacked) does need an occasional bit of air every few weeks, but no big deal.

4.0 out of 5 stars A comfortable, versatile bargain! February 13, 2007
By Gary
After researching many of the other more expensive, self-inflating air beds, I decided to purchase the Coleman 4-in-1 Quickbed for overnight guests. It's less than half the price of an average twin size Aero Bed and much more versatile as it can be configured as two twins, one king, or one double-height twin. You do need to buy a separate pump, but the Coleman pump is inexpensive and can be used for other inflating/deflating purposes (e.g., pool toys, vaccuum storage bags, etc.). Each mattress inflates and deflates in just a couple minutes, and it's quite easy to roll it up for storage. It's comfortable both as a single matress or double height. I ended up buying a second 4-in-1 Quickbed, so now I can accommodate up to 4 overnight guests for less than $100. I can't vouch for how long it will last, but even if it sprung a leak after a couple years of periodic use, it would still be worth it at this low price.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a STELLAR inflatable bed! January 2, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase
This "4 in 1 Coleman Quickbed" is the very best ever in my opinion! I bought another brand inflatable bed from Kmart and stacked the two twins on top of each other trying to make a camping bed for myself at 66 years old, which would be tall enough to get in and out of (old knees). That double stacking, without a way to tie them together, was not really very safe. Also, one of those Kmart ones lost air the first night without anyone sleeping on it. For that reason, I knew it was time to start over.

I found this Coleman 4 in 1 Quickbed on the Amazon website and read reviews of it from other sites as well, then ordered it. It was well priced as well, I might add.. I got it promptly and immediately inflated it. I was told by another camping friend who summers in the UP of Michigan, to get a hand pump too, as it isnt easy to add a little bit of air to one of these by hauling your bed out of your tent to the car (didnt want a pump with batteries) every few days. I ordered the Coleman hand pump and it really does the trick for that, and was only 10.95 on Amazon when I purchased it. After you read what follows though, you may not need that...

This Coleman 4 in 1 Quickbed is very versatile. It can be used as a twin stacked or separate, or as a king.It zips together easily, and clips in two places on the other side to hold that side together when stacked. I bought it for guests in my home, as well as to use stacked for camping in a tent. There is only room in my smallish second bedroom which I use as a "bead room", since I also design jewelry) for a twin extra bed for guests. This Quickbed holds air well, that is for sure. I inflated it two weeks ago as I planned a camping trip and wanted to make sure it would hold air before taking that trip. This camping trip was cancelled because of 16-22 degree morning degrees (in central Florida) for the entire time of the scheduled trip. I left the bed inflated as I had company coming within a a couple of weeks for a few days after Christmas. My friend used this bed even without adding extra air!!! She said it is VERY comfortable and the fact that I didnt need to add extra air with a hand pump really floored me!!

I found a deal during the Thanksgiving sales, for "any size down like comforters for 19.95" and bought both a king and a twin. I used the king (doubled) over on top of the stacked Coleman Quickbed for some padding and to close the "dents" in the top of the inflatable, kind of a mattress pad of sorts. I then made up the bed with linens which included that twin comforter on top. It was a big hit for my guest at home!

One more tip: I bought a nicely designed 12v car air pump which would also be useful to pump bicycle tires from Target to use on this bed. It would never totally initially inflate these air mattresses even giving it about twenty minutes, which is ridiculous. I kept it as a bicycle pump though, as it is great for that, but useless for inflating an air mattress. I bought a Coleman Quick Pump with 12v car adapter, and found out that THIS PUMP instantly inflated this bed (I had partially deflated it to see) and was COMPLETELY impressed with the tight fit with the pump on the Quickbed and the speed at which it inflated that bed...I love that pump! Consider that as well, if you dont already own one.

If you are an older adult with some arthritis or knee problems, this bed will work for you! You will be thrilled with its quality for small spaces in your home or condo if you need an extra bed, or for tent camping- if you are crazy like me and still want to enjoy the real outdoors at your "young" age!

I found that the product is impractical to inflate manually, so I recommend an electric pump if you're considering this product. Read more
