This cot has lived up to the high expectations I have come to expect from Coleman. I have used it 5 times so far this year and the same thing every time, EASY setup...comfortable...sturdy...EASY fold up. Seriously it sets up in about 30 seconds, ok 35 if you use the side table. It has a nice large size that fits my twin sleeping bag, a Coleman Big Game Sleeping Bag, without a problem. Very comfortable sleep and a steel frame that lets me know its going to last. Fold up is just as easy, if not easier, than setup.

Amazon has some of the product specs wrong so here it is straight from the Coleman website:

Powder coated rust resistant steel frame
Removable side table with cup holder
Extra wide cot collapses for easy storage
Great for use indoors and outdoors
Frame: Steel
Unfolded Dimensions: 80 in. x 32 in. x 17 in. (203.2 cm x 81.3 cm x 43.2 cm)
Folded Dimensions: 40.2 in. x 5.9 in. x 5.9 in. (102 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm)
Weight Capacity: Supports up to 300 lbs. (136 kg)
Maximum Height: Comfortable sleeps a person up to 6 ft. 6 in. (1.73 m)
Carry Weight: 21 lbs. (9.5 kg)

I ordered two of this cots using amazon prime, one of them show up in time, the other one came in two days later.
The cot are very easy to put together and they look very durable. I will be using them in a camping next week. I will update this review after the camping :)

--------------

(update 4-2-2012) the cots are very easy to assemble and they were very comfortable to sleep, but they are a litle bit bigger than I anticipated, so the tent look crowded :) . Anyway they are 5 stars cots :)

Still into camping, in my 6th decade. However, no matter how great the camping mats are, I'm done with sleeping on the ground. Looked around and decided to go with this cot because it was wide & long. It was great for sleeping and the other big plus is that you could sit on the side and get dressed or undressed without the thing tipping. I am not a petite woman but this cot was more then ample. Extremely easy to unfold and fold back up. 20 lbs. in a carry sack that comes with it was very easy to manage. Don't think about it too much, just buy it.

I think this rates high on comfort, right there with the Byer Easy Cot. Time will tell if it hold up but it seems to have the same type of construction as the Byer.

One other note. The 40" width in the specs includes that little side table/shelf. The cot itself is 32" wide.

This cot was as easy to put up as my camp chair. I also had PLENTY of room. Never felt like I was falling out. Great buy. No more air mattress for me!

I just bought one of these cots to replace a leaky air mattress. After years of dealing with an air bed for me and the wife plus one for each kid I decided I might rather just have cots. After trying this out, I am definitely going to replace all the mattress as they wear out. The only drawback to the cot is it's heavy. Obviously it has to have some heft if it's going to support 300lbs and be sturdy, so that's not a complaint, just something to account for when packing for a camping trip.

Bought this cot from a local store. It is 31 inches in width (not 40 as described.) It is actually very similar to the Byer of Maine Easy Cot, but just a little longer and taller (and includes side table). It has the same easy opening design. It is also about the same price. However, it is lower quality and much less sturdy than Byer of Maine Cot. IE, this Coleman cot wobbles and has lower quality canvas and stitching. Unless you really need the extra height or length (or side table), go with the Byer of Maine Cot.

I bought this for a camping retreat in Michigan as I am an old fat lady who has trouble getting up off the ground. I set it up at home before I left so I would be prepared. Upon reclosing, a part of it got caught in the middle where it unfolds and ripped. I heard it immediately and stopped so it wasn't a disaster. Please be aware of this and be careful. I used it for 6 days with no troubles what so ever. I also used a foam pad with it set just off the front so that I was not trying to climb out of a hole and that worked well. I haven't used it yet this year so don't know it if will hold up for a long time. I intend to sew the rip and use some iron on patch before taking it out again. It only got 4 stars because it isn't completely idiot proof.
