I purchased this tent for a camping trip in Lake George NY. I've never been camping since the boy scout days. Opened up the package when I got there and setup was simple, it took about ten minutes. Tent is really well made for the price, everything went together well. The ventilation is great with the upper walls screened. Even with the rain cover on you still get great ventilation through large screened openings on the front and back walls of tent. Without the rain guard installed, the upper walls of this tent are screened so you can see the sky and stars.

It's high enough to sit comfortably inside with a couple of chairs. The green color is also very cool. It has an opening so you can run and extension cable in if camping with electricity. The 2 large mesh pockets on the inside walls are handy for storage! A hook is provided so you can also hang a battery or electric powered lantern from the top center of the inside roof of the tent. I would consider this a 2 person tent with plenty for room for all you gear, I could not see 4 people fitting comfortably. Another bonus is comes with a carrying case and folds ups to a size of about 2 rolls of paper towels stacked on top of each other for easy transport! Also, it comes with a mat to put outside by the front door so you can leave your shoes there.

Im not an avid "camper" and until yesterday never owned a camping tent. I been scouring amazon and youtube for tents and than headed out to dicks sporting good and picked this up to go camping with my daughter and sister over the july 4th weekend comming up. The tent was much cheaper than listed here on amazon so I picked up 2 just for a spare.

Couldn't wait so I grabbed my wife and we set this up in the backyard. After eyeballing the directions, according to my watch, we put it together in 19 mins and neither of us ever set up a camping tent before, Came with 10 metal stakes, we used four.

Me and my daughter (she is 4) slept out overnight Im 6ft and I can fit okey with about a half foot extra leg room. Its been hot and humid the past few days and as a bonus, A few hours after setting up, it got windy than started raining. So I was real happy to test this out. The inside stayed perfectly dry throughout the night. Wind did pick up a little. Not a problem. The vents allowed excellent circulation with fair amount of privacy.

Because the kids kept climbing in and out of it earlier in the day we got some skeeters inside the tent. I used bug spray and they were gone. Once we were zipped in, the meshed vents had absolutly no problem keeping them out.

Some neat little features:
Has hook inside at top of dome for hanging led light that worked out perfect.
two small hanging mesh bags, they'll hold stuff like wallets, small camera, cell phone, small flashlight. Things like that. Has opening for power chord if necessary.
Because my daughter so tiny I had plenty of room to store equiptment inside if necessary but with two adults keeping your gear inside wont be an option.

I bought this for our annual June cub scout camp out in the park (i.e. not exactly extreme camping). The tent was easy for my 8 year old son and I to set up together and very roomy for the two of us (I can see how it could easily fit 4 if needed, though it was a nice size for 2 with plenty of room for stuff). It rained most of the night with thunder and lightning, but we made it through completely dry. The rain cover worked great and still provided plenty of ventilation. There are not a lot of rope tie-downs for kids (and adults) to trip over which was nice (just 2 for the rain cover and none for the actual tent) and it was still entirely stable through our stormy night. This tent was reasonably priced and worked well for our purposes. I bought this rather than last year's model just because it was a few dollars less but my impressions of this tent seem in line with the very positive reviews for last year's model.

Overall, this is a nice tent.

PROS:
Expected Coleman quality construction.
The Zippers are nice, smooth, no snags, and water tight.
The tent is light, easy to pack, easy to set up, even in the dark.
The tent has a lot of ventilation to avoid internal condensation.
Fits a queen size air mattress with some room for shoes, gear, and backpacks.
Great price, good value. I'll be using this tent for several years hopefully.

CONS:
This tent leaks at the seam where the floor meets the sides. It rained for 10 hours the second time we used it, 1.5 inches of rain. Everything near the sides of the tent was soaked. I could see the water seeping through the seams.
You must seam seal this tent before using it in the rain. The rain-fly worked fine, and we stayed dry enough to survive the night. I bought some seam sealer and will be sealing this tent for our upcoming camping trip.
It's airy. It was in the low 50's the night it rained and it took some effort to stay warm and dry.
There is no built in way to cover the large mesh vents under the rain fly. The large air vents are good for reducing condensation, but does not hold in much heat. I am thinking about making some Velcro attachable vent covers to hold in some heat and stay a little warmer if needed.

I would recommend this tent for camping where it doesn't get very chilly. Make sure you seam seal it (I think this is recommended for any tent) and bring a warm sleeping bag or extra blankets in case it gets cold.

Update: 2012 Camping Season
No more leaking problems since I seam sealed it with Seam Grip. It has endured several thunderstorms with no problems. The tent is holding up well... I did have to sew up a seam on the stuff sack though.
