Coleman 28-Quart Cooler with Molded-Handle

I bought this cooler because I needed a little bit of a smaller one to fit in our little car on our road trip, I couldn't fit the more standard sized cooler, but I didn't want the tiny "personal" coolers either. This fit perfectly behind the passenger seat. It also did a great job of keeping everything cold. It spent 14 hours in a hot car and most of the ice was still unmelted by the end of the day. It did the job.

I bought this cooler wanting one to keep inside my truck to keep drinks cold. It is a good quality cool for the money. I gave it 4 stars because I would like it to have a little more insulation in it. Hold ice for about a day in the heat. The molded handles are nice but for long carries I would recommend getting a cooler with better handles.

This is a great little cooler for the price. It is a good size for a roadtrip, the beach, or light camping (drive up, not hiking and hauling). The handles are basically molded plastic and a little shallow, so I would not suggest carrying it long distances with a heavy load. Does not have a hole at the bottom to empty excess ice melt though (my only complaint). Very satisfied with the product so far.

After searchig for three years for a cooler to fit a certain size rack, I thought I finally found the perfect one.
After receiving it, I found out that it is very cheaply made. For Coleman, I thought this to be poor quality.
Though it fits my cooler rack on my Motorcycle trailer, the flimsy molded-in handles and the "Non-Hinged" lid did not present itself to be of any quality. Unless you "Must-Have" something this size, look elsewhere.

Why take a cooler twice as big as you actually need? That's what I thought prior to purchasing this 28 quart cooler. Fits the gap in between the 12/14 & 48/50 quart sizes perfectly. Ice remains frozen with minimal melting for three to four days. Still remains cold to cool beyond that. Also takes up less space in your vehicle.

We bought this to fit in the trunk of a 2010 Lincoln MKS since a standard 48 qt. ice chest wouldn't fit. Trunk is big enough but the opening to the trunk is too small. This ice chest solved that problem. However, we are still going to buy the Coleman Party Stacker to get a chest with a wider foot print. This one is a bit top heavy and will tend to tip over in the trunk if not secured.

Will be using this very compact cooler to transport medicines. Looks kinda small, so I'm hoping the reviews prove my concerns false. Make sure you purchase a large enough ice pack for inside.
