The only other thing you need is a pair of needle nose pliers and some 3-in-1 oil.
I just repaired a 40 year old stove with this kit.
The kit has all the parts to handle old to new devices.
For older devices, be prepared to spend a couple minutes pulling off the 'cup' and then the plastic collar. Then put the metal collar back on, then the cup, then the new snap ring. (You will destroy 1 snap ring taking off the cup, but a new snap ring is included with the kit)
Note that this kit comes ready for devices with the plastic pump cap. Parts are included for conversion to the metal pump cap, which will require a pair of needle nose pliers. I did not find the conversion difficult, but I doubt that less handy customers would enjoy this step.
I have two main complaints about this kit:
1. The metal pump cap is a different size, and much more flimsy than the original. Holes on the side of the cap for the wire clip did not align with their counterparts on my lantern.
2. The pump did not slide easily within the lantern. It was very jerky and was capable of only weakly pressurizing the fuel tank, even after being lubricated on the inside: in short, it did not do its job. (The old pump slid fine, the cup just didn't work anymore.)
The poor quality of this kit and poor reviews I've read elsewhere (of other current Coleman products) make me question the wisdom of purchasing any more liquid-fueled Coleman products. Eventually, they too would require new pumps and I don't feel that I could trust this kit to do the job.
One more reason that we look here for almost everything we need, and are almost never disappointed. I would buy this Repair Kit again if I needed to fix our other lanterns in the future.

Worked great on my hand me down 60's Coleman 3 Burner stove. I had to change the plastic cap with the old metal one to keep the aesthetics...other than good as you can expect.Published 2 months ago by RicksDIY
The plunger was plastic. The old one was leather. It works but not as good as the old one.Published 2 months ago by happyhunter
