Bugs stay away,
This review is from: Coleman #828C135 Mosquito Coil
My husband and I are primative campers and we've been using these coils for years. There is just not a product like it on the market that we've been able to find. I have sensitive skin and react to spray-on repellents but I can sit outside by the firepit, on the patio, at the campsite, anywhere these coils are burning. They last for hours and keep the bugs away!

Pretty...okay,
This review is from: Coleman #828C135 Mosquito Coil
These work okay. We set it right next to the fire and had a couple tiki torches with repelling fluid burning as well. It cut down on the bugs but didn't completely eliminate the problem, although my daughter (who's allergc to mosquitos) didn't actually get any bites, which was a plus. Worth it for the price.

Coleman Mosquito Coils,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Coleman #828C135 Mosquito Coil
I hunt swampy areas in Alabama. Mosquito's are real thick here. I use a thermocell unit which completely eliminates them, but the unit is expensive to run. These coils are the only M coils that contain the same chemical as thermocell pads. I figure they be about 90% as effective as my thermocell unit, and about 90% cheaper to run. Just set one by your stool or better yet under it and your mostly bug free. If your a hunter the smoke gives ya an added plus - by always showing you the wind direction!
