To my surprise, our two adult cats took to this tent right away, and both continue to enjoy it daily, more than a month after we received it as a gift. At times they'll even "fight" over who gets to hide/sleep in the tent. This item really seems to nurture the cats' natural hiding, stalking and territorial instincts... which is perfect for our indoor cats in a relatively small house. The product is very well made, colorful and attractive.

The Coleman Mountaineer Cat tent was easy to put together in under ten minutes. Once a small towel was added to the floor of the tent, the household cats have been "camping" it up since.

He couldn't wait to get in it and has used it every day for over a year since, has held up well. Tent has even been tripped over and accidently stepped on and it bounced right back. Easy assembly w/directions.

Most of his favorite games involve the tent. He likes to shoot through it sometimes he lands inside and turns quickly and occasionally rolls over the entire tent, which has never hurt him or the tent. He also has found that the center pole w/black cap above the door makes a great self grooming tool.

Highly Recommend, Would buy again, no weird smells or other surprises. Exactly as pictured, zippers on side open and can be tied back, floor is only connected on corners. Would not recommend for shelter outdoors, more of an indoor play tent or deck tent for warm dry weather. Also considered buying the larger dog size instead of this, for extra room, but glad I did not because cats naturally feel safer in smaller spaces.

He is a long haired persian he is very large (12lbs lots of fur) compared to most cats to give you some idea of the size, see customer photos.
