Coleman 3-burner dual fuel stove,
By
This review is from: Coleman 3 Burner Dual Fuel Deluxe Liquid Fuel Stove (Sports)
This stove is the same basic design as those I've used for the last 40+ years. Just that now it burns unleaded gas, which is about one-third the price of Coleman fuel in our area right now.
The main reasons for my purchasing the stove were (1) wanting to save on fuel, and (2) wanting a larger cooking area and three burners. The stove delivers admirably on both points. Lots more space than my original two-burner, and the flareups I had expected might occur with gasoline don't happen: it's just like lighting the stove using original Coleman fuel. Highly recommended.

Good stove for large group,
By The stove was light and took a beating for three days with no issues. We were all well fed! I liked having the 3 burners to cook with two and have coffee going on the third. We also used it to heat water for doing the dishes afterwards while still cooking or keeping food warm. That was quite handy. Coleman white gas is cheap and clean. The stove is easy to use and the Coleman company wisely stenciled the lighting instructions on the lid knowing that the instructions would never make it to the campsite. (Good call on their part!) In case you're wondering... the advantage of liquid fuel over propane is that if you're in a very cold environment, propane won't vaporize to fuel the burner. White gas will even when well below freezing. I would have given it 4.5 stars but that's not an option.

Cleman 3 Burner Dual-fuel Stove,
This review is from: Coleman 3 Burner Dual Fuel Deluxe Liquid Fuel Stove (Sports)
Well made (in the USA no less)and solid. Center burner is the "on burner" which makes the stove very accomodating of large size pot or kettle. Both outside burners are plenty hot and useful. If "Coleman qualified" it is a simple stove to operate and maintain. If not, it is easy to master. This is a large stove which is actually useful as a replacement home stove if power is out (though should be used only outside). Use of lead free gas makes it cheap to operate over the long hual. Totally satisfied with this classic.
