Product Description

Butane/Propane mix canisters are lightweight, resealable, and easily connect to stoves and lanterns. Most canister appliances are lightweight and simple to use, so if you are a backpacker who counts ounces and appreciates convenience this fuel is for you. Downsides are that canisters can't be recycled, and in subfreezing temperatures, the fuel does not perform well. Or at all. Cold temperatures affect the pressure in the canister, so performance is best in mild to moderate conditions, Main advantages: convenience and light weight.

It is Good, the worst part is having to tell you that in 19 words.

Fits with the tiny camp stove that I ordered (the generic one in the orange box that everyone on Amazon buys)- threads well and had no issues with it.

used this with a MSR micro rocket stove for months while being deployed to afghan mountains. Seller had fast shipping to! used it just about everyday to heat soups up, one can might last about 4 to 5 weeks depending on how long you let it burn.

These canisters can be purchased at Wal-Mart for $4.88 plus tax. The fuel itself is very good and works well with some of the inexpensive burners available on Amazon.

I bought this can for my new camp stove, still to be delivered. Still the coleman fuel was delivered fast, and packaged correctly, no leaks or dents.I can only leave a update after I get the camp stove and cook something on it.First I will try something easy like heating water for Instant coffee or cup o soup. Still I am having fun planning on ways to pack this fuel can in my b.o.b. or my regular hiking backpack.
UPDATE: the fuel canister worked with my new MSR pocket rocket stove. The fuel with the stove boiled water in under 4 minutes, so I will buy again when needed.

This would not be my primary go-to fuel source for an iso-pro stove, but it will work if there is no other choice. Compared to other iso/pro mixes out there, this one does not perform nearly as consistent. I'm unsure if the problem lies in the valve they used, or in the actual mix itself but every time I fire up my little single burner stove, the gas feed is choppy and the valve increases the flow as everything gets hotter. IOW, when I first fire it up to the level of flame I desire, within a few minutes the flame is much more intense and overheating my food. Forget about trying to dial it down low enough to simmer. If I get it low enough, only half of the flame dispersion material gets lit up and there is a distinct hissing sound from the flow valve. Coleman needs to take this one back to the drawing board.

Did not notice the price when ordering was getting with other camping supplies. was nearly 2 times the price of at local store. Have not used the item itself but for the price and time waiting upon arrival. unless in extremely rural area, would not recommend

I bought this for a short hiking trip. I used it with a compact stove and the fuel worked very well. It was able to heat things up very quickly. The only thing I should have done is looked at the size of this tank. I did not need as much fuel as I thought for as long as I was out. I would suggest anyone going hiking look into how long they are going to be out, then decide if this size is right for the trip. There are smaller containers that I think I will use next time for a short hiking trip. Otherwise, this worked very well for my trip.

I use these all the time and they work great. I've never had any issues. The only think to consider when ordering these on Amazon is that their is an additional shipping charge. You are better off getting them at your local outdoor stores.
