Unbelievably light stool,

This review is from: Coleman Rambler Stool (Charcoal) (Sports)
Having been searching a suitable stool for quite a long time, I bought this one after reading positive comments from other backpackers. When it first came to my home, it suprised me with its size. I need to tied it over my backpack when hiking. Even though it's quite big, it's unbelievably light and comfortable. There are some in market which are very small in size and light, but that's not comfortable enough.
It is highly recommended if you do not mind its size!

The stool is VERY lightweight. I keep one in my car to take shopping with me; I can't stand up for long, so I put it in the shopping cart and just sit down when I need to. (I have severe osteoporosis and COPD.) A friend, who often takes me shopping, keeps one in her trunk for me! I have one on the carport, to use when I can't get from the car to the house "in one trip", or need to sit when I'm doing the "trash day" chores. Much easier to handle than a folding chair, and takes less space. This stool definitely makes my life easier. I'm going to order a few more to have around the house.

I just love this little stool. Not only is it sturdy, but it's extremely lightweight. I purchased this because I wanted to be able to have a shower chair to use at campgrounds that don't have handicap showers with stools in them since I am an amputee and cannot stand to take a shower. I'm able to easily carry this in one hand while using that same hand on my crutches and a toiletry bag in the other. It also makes a nice footstool beside the campfire, which serves to dry it thoroughly as well. I've also used it in a pinch as a cot-side nightstand in my tent. It will hold up to 200 lbs. and as long as it's taken care of it should last for years and years, even with my less than customary use of the item.

I bought this stool for gardening. I have big beds of flowers and lots of weeds to remove. This incredibly handy and sturdy stool allows me to scoot aroung in the beds to reach weeds without doing any serious damage to the flowers or to my knees. It's very sturdy and I simply do not know how I lived without it!!!

It is a simple folding camp stool. As the other reviewers mention, it is lightweight and strong. But it is uncomfortable to sit on if you want to keep your legs closed when you are sitting. Closed legs = cross bar digging into underside of legs. Legs wide open, almost straddling the stool is quite comfortable, but not so lady like. Guys will have no problem with this product I am sure.

I was looking for a stool similar to one that I used to strap onto my backpack when hiking, so that I could sit when my back started to hurt, or while my husband was fishing during these hikes, I'd have something to sit on. This stool is perfect for this, easily straps to my backpack, and adds very little weight. I would recommend this to anyone!

This is a must have for anyone who gardens alot. I carry it with me to all of my projects in the dirt. It's very lightweight and sturdy. I got the idea of this from my earlier experiences camping--in fact called it a camping stool. Good anytime and anywhere you need a sitdown.

Great little stool. I got this for my husband to take to the tennis courts. It is very popular and most of the men want to know where he found it. It is easy to carry along with you and he keeps it in his truck. I would think it would be great to take to any sporting event.
