This oil lubricated belt drive unit is an evolution of 40 years of proven technology. Designed with the professional in mind, these Coleman Powermate compressors work great for anyone from the do-it-yourselfer to the professional user. The Coleman Powermate exclusive twin cylinder pump design combines cast iron cylinders with aluminum cooling fins for reduced heat and long lasting operation - aluminum cooling fins dissipate heat faster, extending the life of the pump. Splash type lubrication fully lubricates the internal pump components protecting them from premature wear. The pump shroud and belt guard design reduce operating temperatures. Heavy-duty capacitor start/capacitor run electric motors. Manual thermal overload protection protects motor for longer motor life.
