I bought two of these monstrous snakes for a pro audio setup; I'm not fond of the color, since most audio cables are black and it's nice to match, but at the price I was getting on them, I wasn't about to let that stop me. Each cable has a little light in the outlet end to indicate that it's live. Both ends are clear, probably made of urethane or something like it, and as you'd expect, the outlet sockets have a good strong grip, so your trimmer, saw, lamp, drill, or whatever isn't going to come unplugged randomly. In all, these are what you'd expect from Coleman: probably not fit for industrial use, but good solid consumer-grade hardware.

Works much better with the snow blower than the orange cord. Glad we got it.

These are great extension cords. We use them to plug in the block heaters of diesel trucks at our warehouse and need them to work when it is really cold. It hasn't gotten that cold yet but even at 15 degrees the rubber was very flexible and the trucks started right up. I will try to remember to update this and let everyone know how they made it through the winter.

I bought my husband an electric Toro Snow Shovel for Christmas. He only has to clean snow off our deck and walkway to the carport (less than 50 feet) so it met his needs. I'd heard a low temp extension cord would remain flexible in cold weather but I couldn't find one locally. Like I said, we live in "the sticks" and there's not much hardward store pickings in this area so I ordered it from Amazon at a very reasonable price. It does the job well and it is easy to see in the snow so he doesn't run over the cord. Bottom line: well pleased with the price, fast shipping and this cord's flexibility in cold weather. Recommend!
