Sometimes you need to route power from behind a cabinet or some other obstruction. This power strip is small, has a right angle plug, and a 4 foot cord. That's all you need to get power out from behind something, ie, you don't have to mess with a cord that is too long.An added benefit is the child-safe sockets. Highly recommended. Too bad they don't carry it anymore.
