My husband is on his feet alot at work. At night when he is watching tv he just hooks the heat lamp to the near by table and adjust his leg in front of it. This works great for his needs. The price is good also. All you need is a bulb.

This works marvelously with my infared heat lamps--the clamps provide versatile positioning. The 8' cord is sufficiently long, for my purposes. Great product!
