I've been using one of these I got on sale about fifteen years ago. It switches a small outdoor flood and, during the Christmas season, a string of lights. It's worked flawlessly all that time, even though it lays right on the ground through all of Michigan's weather -- and we get everything! Can't beat it!

I really like these as they work form dusk 'til dawn. Other types of these timers have trouble knowing when to turn on and off. Some others I've had have stayed on long after sunrise which defeats the purpose of the device.

The item received is NOTHING LIKE WHAT IS PICTURED! Ordered the Coleman (4 of them!) and got Woods brand which features a protective ridge where the plug would go and 3-plug adaptors cannot be used. Returning these as I own the one pictured and this is not it. 5-stars for the Coleman one pictured and 2-star for the Woods model received because of the ridge.
