5.0 out of 5 stars Nothing beats Coleman for quality
Bought this table for camping but use it for parties and get-togethers at home as well. Love it due to its easy transportability. Folds up and sets up quickly, unlike those cumbersome folding card tables. Highly recommend for the value.

NOTE: This got one star because I could not give it zero or below zero!!

I used it ONE - COUNT IT , ONE - time and both sides of the table BOWED!

I was so disapponted in this table. My father-in-law had an aluminum Coleman table for years. I thought this was similar. BOY WAS I POORLY MISTAKEN!

First, the table tops are FLIMSY...

First, the table tops are FLIMSY PARTICLE BOARD! You can not tell this from the picture!!!

To make things worse, when I got the table, the metal edges holding down the 'flimsy particle board' were bent up. I needed it for a party so I could not return it.

How someone could use this camping (as the product description at the time stated) is beyond me due to the bowing issue. It would not hold up to water-related events like rain. Good forbid you do not catch a spill.

My recommendation is to buy an all plastic folding table at K-mart or Home Depot for a few dollars more and almost the same weight!!!!

This crushed my highly-rated image of Coleman. I'm surprised they let their name on.

Don't waste your money!

1.0 out of 5 stars TERRIBLE PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!, September 4, 2004

I ordered 2 of these flimsy tables. They were not only expensive to ship, but one arrived damaged. The one that was not damaged in transit would not even open fully, meaning that people's drinks would slide off the table. These are the most flimsy tables I have ever encountered. If it weren't for the replacement tables I found at costco, the party I planned would have been a disaster.

3.0 out of 5 stars "Stable Table?", January 14, 2007
The Coleman Dynasty table is not the best table for much weight. When I purchased the table, sight unseen, of course, I expected it to be on a par with a wonderful metal Coleman table my parents had in the 1950's or 60's. That table is still in use!

My new Dynasty table is "flimsy", and it's best use could be for camping, picnics, and barbecues. Use paper or plastic plates and don't overload it.

It folds and travels well, and is light weight.

I ended up purchasing a stronger table which is better serving my needs. I may sell the Coleman or keep it for camping.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good value, June 15, 2005
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We got four of these tables last year for our Summer Party and have been using them regularly. None of them arrived damaged and all had functioned well. We weren't expecting stainless steel sturdiness (on the contrary they are light and easy to transport, set-up) so we were not disappointed by their "filmsiness". This year's party will be bigger, so we are purchasing four more.

4.0 out of 5 stars Camp Table, November 4, 2006

This table was what we needed. It is wide enough and does the trick as a kitchen. The only thing I had a problem with was that it was too thin for our kitchen gear pole (it holds paper towels, lantern, cooking utensils, garbage bag)would not tighten down as thin as the table. So it wobbled around a lot.

4.0 out of 5 stars good service, but the product is liitle different than what I thought, August 29, 2005
the table has Aluminum legs, but the plat form is made of some kind of paper board. but if you don't put too much weight on it, it's pretty good.

4.0 out of 5 stars portable folding table review, August 9, 2005
This is a excellent product for certain needs. It is unmatched for ease of transport (I can easily carry four of them at once). The only drawback is that these tables are limited in how much weight they can hold. This makes perfect sense, of course. If they were sturdier , they would be heavier. A common sense approach to usage -- place heavier objects toward the ends and the legs rather than in the middle on the hinge -- will insure safety and longevity of the product. All in all, a very good value.

We are very happy with our Coleman Dynasty Folding Table. The construction of the table is very solid and it takes up little space when not in use. It's strength and comfort are uppermost to us.

5.0 out of 5 stars I use it as a laundry table, October 29, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This folding camp table works very nicely in my laundry area in the basement. I use it for laundry baskets and for folding laundry. If I need the floor space, I can fold it up and set it aside between the washer and dryer or against the wall. It was also recently used for displaying and selling bake sale items at a community fund raiser.

PLEASE NOTE: I purchased this table directly from Amazon for $31.58 back in May 2007 which made it a good deal. However, as of the date I wrote this review, Amazon was charging $54.59 for it (!) which is a very pricey and NOT A GREAT BUY in my opinion.
