Packed in 12 eggs and it got jostled around a bear food keg (hard sides) when loading and unloading from a canoe. I didn't lose an egg.

On a side note, mine were red, not turquoise.

This egg holder is great on camp outs and short trips. Only bad part of getting this on amazon is that you will be spending 3 bucks more than at wal-mart. I would rather give Amazon my money than wal-mart any day however.

Taken this egg container on 3 trips now. Generally we don't take great care when loading items, so the eggs had been broken many times in the past. But not one egg has broken in this egg container. We load it full with eggs, and toss it in the cooler or fridge and don't have to worry about any broken eggs at all.

These work very well. I thought I got a good value @ 5 and some change, until I went to WalMart today and they were 2.88. Great product though and would recommend to anyone.

Great protection for eggs. We camped for nine days and this was a great way to bring eggs and have them take up less room in the cooler as well as protecting them from being broke.

This product works very well. First time I took it camping i dropped this container off of the car and none of the eggs broke so I was extremely happy.

Worth the price if a camper

I ordered this because so many people are raising chickens these days. My mom and my boss are always given away eggs. These are really handy and I don't have to worry about the eggs getting smashed in the process.

This didn't seem to work out for me I heard a lot of people say they liked it but the eggs that we buy do not fit in it.

I'm new to camping but wanted to take eggs. The first time we took eggs in the cooler the carton got soggy. This container keeps the eggs nice and safe (assuming you're not throwing them all over the cooler) and in one spot. Totally great item...would buy again!

Item kept eggs all safe and crack free! I would reccommend this for other campers. One always uses many eggs when camping and this was a plus!
