I bought this bag for Africa, where I wasn't expecting the nights to be too cold. We did have one 40 degree night up in the mountains, and I would say the 40 degree rating is right on. I was just comfortable enough, but I would've been cold if the temperature had dropped by another five degrees.

The bad is also comfortable, and just big enough for me (6 feet tall). I probably wouldn't recommend it for someone over 6 feet though. The bag provided plenty of cushion, even though we didn't have any mattress pads, just a tent on bare ground.

The bag is also somewhat waterproof, although it isn't advertised as such. We had a leaky tent one night but the dripping water didn't get through my bag until after about 5 hours. I was expecting to be soaked all night, but it held up pretty well. I'm quite happy with my purchase.

I bought this as a present for my daughter who is 11. She loves the flannel lining and before she even used it as a sleeping bag, she opened it up and used it as a bedspread. It is great as an indoor bag---although not sure how it would be outside in the cold. The only problem we found was rolling it up and getting it in the bag provided. It was rather hard for her to roll and difficult to get into the bag. Otherwise--very soft and comfortable.

Bought this reasonably priced, well-made sleeping bag for my 10-year old granddaughter when she outgrew her little girl's sleeping bag. She takes it to slumber parties and uses it in her family's travel trailer, so she doesn't need protection from freezing weather. The bag is soft, cozy, washes well, and collapses into a fairly small storage bag. She loves the color, which is true to the product pictured. I highly recommend this sleeping bag for anyone who does not plan to sleep in less than 40 degree conditions.

My son was comfortable sleeping in this bag on a chilly night - he stayed toasty warm and it was long enough for a comfortable night's sleep. Great price, too.

I did not use this bag personally, but the person who did said that it more than fit the bill.

Can be a little bit of a challenge to stuff in the storage bag.

For what i paid i got better than i had expected

These bags were purchased to keep homeless people warm during the nights. They have kept people warm. No complaints. Just as advertised.

This sleeping bag is comfy and is good for temp. 40-50F, but I have slight trouble getting it back into the carrier. The carrier, however, has a zipper so if you have difficulty packing the sleeping bag back in, just unzip and expand the carrier. Neat.

I've owned quite a bit of sleeping bags over the years ranging from $10 to $150. Honestly for around $20, this is about as good as you can get. It's large enough so that you don't feel claustrophobic and the material feels great on your skin. The inner and outter lining feels the same, very smooth and doesn't get caught on your hangnails like some. If you camp in the summer or fall when the weather is still above 40 degrees at night, look no further.

My daughter & I are very pleased with this sleeping bag. It was a good price, and she found it to be warm & cozy!
