Coleman Hibernation Dog Sleeping Bag

I must admit that I was a bit embarrassed to tell anyone that I had purchased a sleeping bag for our dog. Honestly, I bought it because it was cute. I really never imagined that Maggie would use it much, but I was willing to take that chance.

When the bag arrived, I was amazed by the quality. I should have known that Coleman would produce a great product, but since I'd never had experience with pet camping products, I wasn't sure what to expect. Craftsmanship is outstanding! For all intents and purposes, this bag seems to be a miniaturized version of an adult bag, the only difference being the heavy-duty material on the bottom of the bag. The size was a great fit, too. We have a 15-pound Jack Russell Terrier, and I originally intended to purchase the bag in a size small. However, that size wasn't available when I made my purchase, so I went with the medium size instead. I'm glad I did because the medium allowed her more room to move around.

All in all, I was truly happy with this purchase. More importanly, Maggie stayed warm and cozy on our camping trip. She was a happy pup!

These bags are great! Our dogs don't want to quit laying on them. Very soft and plush/thick. Love the option to unzip them and use as a blanket, zipper and stitching seems very sturdy and reliable.

One time I made the mistake of putting my human-size Coleman sleeping bag on the floor to lie down, and my dog was obsessed with the flannel lining and tried to claim it. So I bought her her very own. This thing is so durable it's been in her crate for 3 years and she puts herself to bed every night because she loves the thing. I just leave it unzipped with the flannel side up. It's been through the washer a few dozen times and still holding strong. My wife thought I was ridiculous at first, but she now understands.

I wasn't sure about the quality of the sleeping bag because it was such a low price. I am so pleased, great quality, great colors and my dog loves it. I use it in her crate, burrows down and gets comfortable. Nice Coleman product.

I would try to lay down in this sleeping bag if I could. It's very plush and the coloring is nice. My dog hasn't slept in it yet because it's still on the warmer side but once the New York winter rolls around, I'm sure he'll bury himself in it.

I was quite skeptical when I saw this at the store, but on a rather impulsive note, I bought it anyway. It was on sale, and I liked the concept, but wasn't sure how my golden would feel about the idea.
He LOVES it. Even as just a bed, this is great! He can't really get into it himself, but I helped him, and now he's bundled up on the floor fast asleep.
I doubt this is for every dog, but I am very pleased with it! Give it a try, it might just work.
