This life vest was a complete failure with our two year old. First, the v-neck is cut so small that it pushed against her neck when she was wearing it. That made her hate it. When in the water, it caused her to roll face down in the water, which caused me to hate it. I recommend looking for a vest with a larger opening at the neck, or less padding at the neck. This one is just too bulky and uncomfortable, and my daughter cried the whole time we made her wear it.
