The Coleman Palmetto Sleeping Bag is great for cool-weather camping. It measures 33-Inch wide by 75-Inch long, and fits most people up to 5-Inch11-Inch. The Palmetto is durably constructed of a polyester cover with a soft tricot liner, with 3 pounds of ColeTherm insulation to keep you comfortable down to 30°-50Degree Fahrenheit. The Palmetto features the QuickCord storage system for easy storage -- no tying required. Coleman-Inchs ComfortSmart technology means your sleeping bag is packed with features to keep you warm and comfortable: ZipPlow plows fabric away from the zipper to prevent snags; Comfort Cuff surrounds your face with softness; FiberLock prevents insulation from shifting keeping you warm and increasing durability; ThermoLock reduces heat loss through the zipper, keeping you warmer; Zipper Glide tailoring allows smooth zipper operation around corners; and Roll Control locks the bag in place for easier rolling.

This sleeping bag is certainly the right price for the occasional camper, and since it's in stock at Amazon (at least when I bought it) a great choice when a camping trip comes up fast. I don't bother to use the attached bungee cords to pack it up, preferring to stuff it into a stuff sack, but they do work nicely. I'm not crazy about the feel of the lining...if I'd had more time I'd prefer to spring for flannel-lined, and maybe an extra-wide bag, but for a once in a while sleeping bag I can make do. Because of the price and availability, I'm giving this a high 4star mark!

I was a bit disappointed when i opened the box and saw the color is not bright red as in the photo, its rather like a maroon shade of red. Also noticed the inner material seems like easily to catch with your long finger nails. But when we brought it out for a camping were so happy with it. It kept us warm inside while its raining and cold outside the tent. Also discovered we can combined two sleeping bags and create a double size sleeping bag for two, perfect for us couple to cuddle up the cold away :) If your an occasional camper that wants a cheap sleeping bag that is warm and cozy, this could be the one for you.

I am a bit of a pansy camper and I like to be comfortable. For me, this means a queen size air mattress and two sleeping bags zipped together. This sleeping bag fit the bill as the price was right. I zipped two of them together with little effort and climbed into bed and was toasty warm and comfy. If fact, even though the temps got down to the 40's, I found that I was warm enough to take off my smart wool socks. BIG MISTAKE! The lining on this bag is the dreaded type of material that catches every rough patch of skin or nail. It was CRAZY! I immediately put my socks back on, stuck my feet out of the bag to cool off and went back to sleep. I think for the price, it is a good bag, but be aware that the lining is a SNAG MONSTER!
