Good looking and nicely designed grill. Great for apartment dwellers (doesn't take up much room - folded or at the ready position with a 16" x 25" footprint). Perfect for small family (2 adults, 2 kids), camping, tailgating, and for entertaining on the go with a few friends. When folded, it's very compact and very portable - takes up only a portion of a car's trunk (make sure it's cooled off, however). Propane bottle and push-button ignition make it convenient as a nice travel grill since you won't have to deal with messy charcoal and hot burning coals that takes forever to cool - cools to a touch after about 40-45 minutes. I like it that it's free-standing and not a table top grill, but requires a flat level surface so it doesn't wobble or roll away on you.

Cooking surface area is large enough to grill a large cut up chicken, or 2 - 5" x 16" slabs of ribs; 18" slabs would be pushing it, though. Gets really hot, especially when lid's closed, so be mindful when grilling as to not burn food - no need for "high" setting. Retains heat well when closed so it's rather efficient. Good size deep drip tray is functional, but be sure to empty it before folding grill up and hitting the road. Also, empty after each use, and you're good to go the next time - fills up quick. Easier if tray is emptied while still warm.

Red enamel finish withstood highest heat setting and maintained its color and integrity - the red darkens a little when grill is hot, but returns to original bright red shade once cooled. Also, heavy sheet metal lid so no warping when closed on high heat for extended length of time (this is not true of other cheaper grills/brands with thin sheet metal lids, so beware!).

I bought this because I live in an apartment with a yard, but can't grill outside my kitchen door. I loved the idea of the folding legs and the wheels to easily trundle out of the garage and into the yard. The assembly instructions were a complete mystery - it took 3 engineers to figure it out. After the assembly party, it fired up like a charm. My disappointment was with the flame settings, low is never low enough and everything chars black before it gets a chance to cook! I am going to invest in some lava rocks in the hopes that it will allievate that situation. Oh, and, yes it folds flat, but it's not designed to hang up so we had to get a bungee cord to tie down so we could hang it, or just lean it, on the wall - otherwise it takes up alot of floor space.

After reading the other reviews, I was a little intimadated by the potential of having an assembly headache. The unit arrives in a total of 7 pieces with the grill housing being fully assembled. The manual itself weight about a pound but is misleading becuase it contains instructions in several languages. The total assembly instructions are two facing pages. The rest are suggestions, maintenance and usage guidelines. The only assembly that needs to take place are the legs and wheels. The instructions are little cryptic, and the pictures really are not helpful. However, being someone who assembled IKEA furniture, if you aproach assembly calmly and logically, it goes together very quickly. As for screwing the gas bottle into the harness, you can definitely feel when the threads take hold and feel when they don't. It took me two attempts to get the bottle screwed in but it went in smoothly once the threads caught. I can see where people might want to put lava rock over the burners, or tin foil in the bottom, becasue once started this things warms up quickly. Overall, very happy with assembly, the parts there were pre-assembled integrated quickly with the assembled peices and I was up and running in less than 10 minutes. Some of the pieces don't make any sense until you see the whole thing assembled so just get it together and it will all make sense.

LOVE IT! Perfect for traveling! Just the right size for my balcony. I was worried that my complex wouldn't allow gas grills, but since this one uses the small cylinder tanks it's great! Clean up is a breeze. I just threw the grate in the dishwasher and it washed up like new!!!

Exactly what we needed! Works great, no issues. The review that mentions that the grill falls off the stand when it is folded down and being wheeled around for transport is false. There is a clip on one of the legs of the stand that holds the grill in place. This grill is wonderful for a small apartment, and for camping if you have enough room to transport it. Not AS compact as the tiny weber charcoal grills, but makes up for it with convenience.

This grill is so handy to have for small families... It doesn't take up a lot of space and folds up easily for storage. The small propane tanks are ideal...no more lugging those big tanks around... I love the way it grills my food too...I couldn't be happier with this purchase...
