4.0 out of 5 stars Good Bag for Warmer weather too. August 9, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase
We purchased three of these bags for a mission trip to Guatemala. As a stand alone bag these were the perfect weight for the evening temperatures there, about 55-60F. Comfortable and warm. Only slight drawback is that if you are a restless sleeper or turn over a lot the bag tends to get a bit tangled, but this seems not to be uncommon for any brand of liner type bag. Price is right and functions very well. We ordered three and received three different colors; red, orange, teal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent bag - by itself or as a sleeping bag liner September 14, 2011
By K. Reed

I bought this in Sept 2010 and have used it multiple times since then. It makes a great Spring, late summer, early Fall sleeping bag by itself (I was fine in the mid 50s). It is also excellent as a sleeping bag liner for the sub freezing nights if your sleeping bag is not rated that low. I am guessing, but I would say it adds about 15 degrees of warmth when used as a sleeping bag liner. Depends on the individual.

The fleece is soft and feels fine when touching skin. The zipper has worked flawlessly and it has held up after 2 - 3 washings. Fits easily in the provided stuff sack.

There are better options if you are looking for ultralight/backpacking solutions. But overall, this does an excellent job.

4.0 out of 5 stars good, but feels a bit cheap February 15, 2012

I like this thing, originally comes with a strong plastic smell. I ripped out the large white instruction tag on the bottom with the washing instructions and it ripped the threading between the fleece part and the zipper lining. A bit disappointing, you would think they would plan on people ripping that off. You can feel the zipper and it is bit uncomfortable when you are sleeping.

I knew I would get a random color, and I ended up with a kind of pea soup green, kind of ugly, I wish it was darker. Packs down to the size of about a football.

5.0 out of 5 stars As expected A+ January 30, 2012

I use to own a green fleece liner from Coleman like this long ago and love it until it was damage in the laundry when it was wash with a bunch of paper hand towels. It became so dusty we had to throw it out. This is the only fabric I know of that you can't remove tissue fiber from. Now, I bought this one and it came in green, exactly what I wanted.

I'm sleeping so well now. It appears to dampen sounds as well so I sleep better. It seals in the warm around my feet, and that was the purpose of getting it. I should have bought it long ago if I knew it was going to work this great.

Some people might not like it because it could be kinda cramp for large adults. You have to sleep like you're in a sardine can. Anyway, thank Goodness it didn't came in pink.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I needed! January 6, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought this item to add a few more degrees of warmth to my sleeping bag. My bag is rated at 30 degrees and I recently went camping in 20-25 degree weather. It added the extra warmth I needed to sleep comfortably through the night. (Now if I could only find something to keep my face warm while I sleep in those conditions!)

It was exactly what I needed for this trip. I would say it added about 10 degrees of warmth to my sleeping bag. Perfect for my needs!

5.0 out of 5 stars WARM AGAIN !!! January 25, 2011

I bought this as part of a sale because I love fleese. I was very impressed with how warm it did keep me when added to my normal blankets. I didn't even wait to try it outside in a sleeping bag.

It is thin but does provide warmth.

I got 2 of these to zip together and make a larger 2-person sleeping sack. The packaging indicates that they are "zip-together compatible". This is not the case - the zipper handles do not ever come completely off either side of the zipper which is necessary to combine or zip together with another zipper.

The zipper does have a nice feature to prevent it from snagging/catching on the material. The zipper is also 2-way, allowing you to open the bottom for ventilation if desired.

So it looked like a fine product, however, it cannot be zipped together with another sleeping bag or combined in the way I had desired. Thought this detail may be useful for others to know.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's a fleece sleeping bag May 8, 2012

It is exactly what you would want out of standard sized fleece sleeping bag. It also unzipped all the way to make decent sized blanket. It keeps you warm in an air conditioned hotel room so I figure it will be just fine for mid 60 degrees and up. Packs up pretty small too.
