5.0 out of 5 stars Great Buy!
After going to the store I was frustrated that the only bags available were either EXTREMELY expensive or poorly built. I knew that I wanted something that would last beyond a couple outings, but I wasn't going to pay an arm and leg for it. The zippers on these bags are GREAT (one of the most important features in a sleeping bag). The material is very light, but...

3.0 out of 5 stars not a 25 degree bag
I am an old NW camper and needed a bag for several trips this summer. (2007)
This is a skimpy 2 pounds of fill bag. Comfortable at night with fleece pants and top at 40 degree nights.
I went camping at 3000 feet in June, wore polar fleece to bed, had to put on polar fleece jacket and hat at 1 am. Out side temp 35 degrees.
so this is good for very warm...

so this is good for very warm weather, RV camping, I was not comfortable and I am 5 '4 150 lbs and I found the bag tight.
spend a little more money if you are going to sleep out side, and yes i had a very good air mattrress.

The zippers on these bags are GREAT (one of the most important features in a sleeping bag). The material is very light, but incredibly warm. The bags are also a snap to re-pack in their stuff bags. Did I mention these things are LIGHT? Highly recommended.

This sleeping bag is very nice. I am pleased with the comfort, the warmth, the nice features, and the light weight for hiking. I recommend it to anyone that needs a nice bag that doesn't want to spend alot of money on one. A great value.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice bag, March 14, 2007

I took this sleeping bag on a cold, chilly night in Tallahassee, FL. I went as low as 18 degrees, lower than the rated 25 degrees. It kept me warm all night and all I wore were two layers of PJ's.I dig the narrow design so it makes it easier to roll and tote. The only down side is that I am 6ft tall and I couldn't rap the mummy hoodie over my head.
My recommendation, buy it b/c for the price you can't loose.
I can't wait to take it out camping again at Terreya Park.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Bag For A Smaller Sleeper, May 18, 2007

I bought this sleeping bag last year to go to Mississippi in November. It worked fine, was warm enough, and pretty comfortable. I'm 6'4" tall however, so it only worked well because it was used on top of a cot. If I had been on the ground, I might not have been so happy. I bought a bigger bag, but if you're less that 6 feet tall, you will LOVE this bag!

5.0 out of 5 stars Warm Bag, great Pack Weight, December 1, 2008

I recently used this bag for some late-fall / early-winter camping just outside of Lost City, WV. Temperatures bottomed out to just under 30 degrees and dressed in nothing but boxer briefs and a cotton t-shirt, the bag (in conjunction with a Thermarest sleeping pad) kept me quite warm and sleeping like a baby throughout the night. I am 5'8", 150 lbs and the bag fit great with room to spare. While a little tricky, it was certainly not impossible to jam the bag back into the provided stuff-sack. While I do not have the exact measurements for the bag in its stuff-sack, it's small and will even fit into a day pack with some room to spare. Great product. Recommended.

We bought 3 Coleman Taos bags for our kids ages 13, 13, and 11. For the price I was not expecting too much, but I was happily surprised. We have used the bags summer camping in Southern Oregon and Northern California. Temperatures at night were probably never below 40. The kids said they slept warm and comfortable. Bags stuff real small and the workmanship seems good.

This sleeping bag completely met my expectations for it's price point. You can get similar performance in a lighter weight bag, but would pay much more for it. Great for routine camping, but a bit heavy for serious backpacking.

It's tough to pack this sleeping bag back in its stuff sack. Also, its pack-size is much larger than I thought it would be.

This is a great sleeping bag if you're not going into cold weather -- it is definitely not for 25 degree weather. I used it on a trip this past weekend and the temperature was around 40 degrees at night. Our tent was cold, and even inside the sleeping bag I was very cold (was wearing fleece pants & sweater).

The following night wasn't as bad, and the sleeping bag was fine. Since I don't plan on camping during 25 degree weather ever, this is perfect for my needs.
