We have been making our own beer for over twenty years, so we could be classed as experienced home-brewers. This kit was quick and fun for us to make and would have been easy even when we had no experience. The stout is deep, dark and delicious. We were pleased to share it with friends. Kits are a great way to start making beer. All the ingredients are in the box -- no forgetting to buy an essential ingredient! The instructions are excellent. Our cost per 750 ml bottle worked out at about $2.00 per bottle -- a fabulous price for an excellent stout.
