About the Author
Toni Buzzeo is a practicing library media specialist at Longfellow Elementary School in Portland, Maine. She holds an M.A. from the University of Michigan in English Language and Literature and an M.L.I.S. from the University of Rhode Island. In 1999, she was named Maine Library Media Specialist of the Year by the Maine Association of School Libraries. As an educator, she has worked as a library media specialist for thirteen years and previously taught both high school and college English. As a writer, she is the author of professional books for librarians and teachers as well as two children's books. She is a frequent presenter at library, reading, and writing conferences.
Toni's second book with Linworth Publishing - Collaborating to Meet Standards: Teacher/Librarian Partnerships for 7-12, will be published in fall 2002.
