From Booklist

While the Sisterhood enjoys superhero status, they are still fugitives hiding on a North Carolina mountaintop. In this entertaining installment in Michaels’ remarkably vital series, the office of the president of the United States needs their help. The donor lists of both the Republicans and the Democrats have been hacked, and personal information about thousands of people has been stolen. This time there’s an added bonus for bringing the thieves to justice: a presidential pardon for the Sisterhood. But the FBI didn’t get the memo: it has set up yet another task force to hunt down those darn vigilantes and lock them up, this time calling on a woman who grew up with “sister” Nikki. --Maria Hatton --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

This is an awesome series the characters are funny as hell. I'm posting this because I saw some reviews that were unfair both of the negative reviews were from people who say that this was there first sisterhood experience and it didn't make them want to read more and I just want to clarify that if u start in the middle u are missing ALOT of details. And the details are very important. The books don't read right out of order. If u are gunna judge the books do it fairly and start from the beginning " Weekend Warriors " it sets up the whole show. I love these books. And every punishment they dishout is totally deserved. Well that's my opinion anyway.

I picked this up in the airport, desperate for something to read.

I had no idea it was part of a series. In a well written series, they give you some background and still flesh out the characters. This novel definitely did not do this. It did not inspire me to read the others. Flat, lifeless & if there had been anything else to read on a 10 hour flight other than the flight magazine I would not have completed it.

I picked this up from the library and have not read the rest of the series. In this book, the female FBI agent Erin is put in charge of a special task force consisting of the FBI Director's #1 man, 2 men close to retirement, and 2 hotshots who naturally are smug jerks interested in making the female FBI agent look bad. The task is to bring in The Sisters ASAP. Erin is chosen because she used to be friends with two of the Sisters and she's a "very good agent" (stated repeatedly with no real case based evidence).

The chase is on. Characters are reintroduced and as a new reader, I was factually caught up by the first third of the book but got confused as things progressed. The agent was being mocked at every turn by The Sisters and their superstar sexpot bartender lawyer. The Sisters' men and merry cohorts, including #1 FBI man, send the FBI agent a merry chase. Erin is sometimes reduced to hot tears over her humiliation and I wonder if this is 2008 or 1958, that readers would buy into the strong Sisters but also believe a wishy washy tear rag could make it as an FBI hotshot.

The actual ending left me wondering why the author even bothered introducing certain characters.

Maybe this book is best read by those who like the Sisterhood series. I was just completely baffled by the plot twists and glad I didn't buy the book based on the first few chapters.
