Love authentic descriptions of the early days of Missouri specifically, but the Louisiana Territory will keep you stuck like to glue to these stories. I'm a Deadwood fan and these writings are compelling, no-holds-barred images of Daniel Boone, Blanchette Chasseur, St. Charles MO in that vein. LOVED it.
