Although he is not as well known as many other theorists and authors in the discipline of management science, Harrison is recognized for developing a questionnaire widely used to analyze corporate culture and for helping pioneer the use of T-groups and sensitivity training in the organizational environment. His ideas have been influential in organizational studies, specifically with regard to development, culture, and learning. Grouped together here in those three categories are his writings from the last 30 years. Harrison still actively consults, and these writings reflect a practitioner's point of view.
