great pep talk for new fathers,

This is on my short list of recommended books for new dads. It's sort of a pep talk for Dads to be an active care-giver even if it's awkward at first. For many new fathers (including me) this is simply due to lack of practice. Some sections are very moving, some are very funny. Two and half years later, I have a great bond with my first son and am looking forward to creating another great bond with my new son.
My only issue was it spent quite a bit of time talking to divorced Dads which I don't plan on being. Not sure why but my copy is titled "Collected Wisdom of Fathers" (same as the thumbnail above) which I like better. I'd like to avoid repeating the mistakes of my predecessors. |
