This is a very compact version of some wondeful, nearly timeless wisdom. If you like to make notes in the margins, you may wish to find another version of the text.

I wish everyone would read Florence Scovel Shinn. This is the best book you can buy because it has all four of her books. She wrote it in the 1920s and it is just as inspiring now. It is so true that what ever you say happens so we have to train ourselves to start thinking and saying positive things ALWAYS. You have absolutly nothing to lose and everything to gain in reading this book. I always buy extras to give as gifts and I like to keep more that one around to read. One at home and one in my purse. It is full of wonderful affirmations as well as stories to prove her point. What a joy it was to discover this absolute treasure!

Cited in "Solar Plexus: The Secret Gravitational System," the wisdom of Florence Scovel Shinn still reigns from the early nineteenth century to today. Coupled with Emmett Fox, Wayne Dyer, and other philosophies, the Game of Life was part of an early exploration into spirituality for me; and the tools and tips therein are still applicable, such as "According to your faith, be it unto you," which is the same as, according to your thoughts and intention, ye shall manifest or receive.

"The fact is, we're living on a floating ball (planet Earth) orbiting in outer space" and this book reminds us that everything we need for life's journey is here on the sphere if we know how to tap into the vast resources available to all.

Want to find out where Dyer, Hay, Tolle and all the new age gurus got their basic information? Buy this book. Shinn is the real deal and her work is all you need to get you started on the path to a better outlook on life.

It is too bad she is no longer with us. It seems we are stuck with ego entrenched teachers more interested in financial gain.

I have to give credit to Louise Hay, at least she admits it.

One of the most amazing books i've ever read. Florence gives very practical information on how to apply her knowlwge of spiritual law.

This must be where Louise Hay & THE SECRET authors discovered the power of positive thought & word. Beautiful affirmations! Simply written. It's staying on my nightstand for handy reference.
