This is a nifty little handbook that handled nearly all the identification needed for amateur shell collecting on Cayo Costa, a barrier island on Florida's west coast. The photographs are accurate and information is easy to find.

I purchases this book for my 13 year old before taking a trip to Marco Island, FL. She read it 3 times in 2 days! Was a great reference for her to use in identifying her shell collection. Would recommend for beginning shell seekers!
