This is a fascinating collection of menus from a diverse range of celebrities, athletes and politicians. If you're looking for the Britney Spears and Paris Hiltons of our day, this book series (this is the second of two) probably isn't for you. However if you want to know what Marilyn Monroe ate at her first playboy spread, etc. then this is a fascinating read. Each of the menus are preceded by a short history lesson about the celebrity and menu itself. It would be really fun to host dinner parties using these menus. Definitely recommend, you won't be disappointed!

This book is absurd. I expected a well researched book of historic andmemorable meals. Forget it. Most of the meals mentioned are celebraties from the 50's and 60's who favored steak and salad or peanutbutter sandwiches and milk. I have a restaurant and bought this book for my chef as a gift. I was so lame I never gave it to him. Skip this.
