Let me start by saying that I really don't know much about pokemon games/cards. I'm just a mom planning a birthday party for a pokemon obsessed kid.

I ordered this bulk shipment of 110 Pokemon cards to use as party favors. Did not really care whether we were getting any rare cards, just wanted them to be in unused condition and suitable for use as party favors, prizes and to sprinkle along the table top as decoration in our pokemon themed party. And actually, the last thing I want to worry about is kids fighting over who got better cards in their package.

Shipment arrived quickly, was well packaged, and cards were new/unused and in great condition. This was a great deal buying in bulk and saved me money and time.

Now, I don't know a lot about the various cards, so I ran these by my resident expert (7 yo son) who rates this set this way: This is definitely a decent set. It has a couple of "really good" cards, and the rest of the cards are "just regular". There are no "crappy" cards. There are no energy cards (which I guess is good?). Even the "regular" cards are ones that he hasn't seen before (they must be from older sets) so they are worth collecting. So there you have it from my inhouse expert.

The cards I got were awesome! There was a great variety and hardly and duplicates. There were also trainer cards and energy cards that were assorted greatly. I'll attach some pictures. In the first one, the stack on the left consists of the Pokemon cards. The middle stack consists of trainer cards and the very right is made of energy cards. The cards were in excellent condition and none of them had any scuffs or scratches at all. The next photo is of the duplicates. There were hardly any c:

I was a little skeptical about this product but was pleased to get exactly what they described. My son used his own money and was very happy with the deal he got. Don't pay retail prices. Buy this set.....

Received 109 cards in this order-the missing card isn't a big deal. Got an assortment of basic, stage 1, trainer cards, and an energy card. The description stated that they try not to send any duplicates and that there is a variety of evolutions from basic on--not exactly true.Read more ›

It is a simple, beautiful, well done, especially to give to the collector who wants to have all the cards in the basic series of pokemon product. I bought it as a gift to my son and he loved the detail of colors and images, how well prepared you are the cards, and best at a super price. I recommend it widely

Perfect for party favor bags. Here's what we did - sort them all out - put Stage 1's aside. For you non-familiars, these say on them in small print what card they evolve from. Now look through the rest and see if you have those and pair them up. In my set I was able to match 3 or 4 of them. I then put the "Trainer" and "Supporter" cards aside. For divvying them up for the bags I put the paired stage1's into piles for each bag, and then the other bags each got a Trainer or Supporter - so everyone at least got something they can use. It ended up working out that I had 12 "something usefuls" for my 12 bags. Then the rest we dealt out across the piles. Second note for the non-familiar folk - at the bottom right is a tiny number and a tiny picture - not the right-most picture but immediately following the number - usually a black or white circle. Circle = common, Diamond = uncommon, Star = rare. In my pack I had mostly common but there were some uncommon too. Given the possible age of the assortment we also found ones that although marked common our near-7 year old didn't have so we set those aside for him. Giving out cards was my son's contribution to what should go in the bags, and this fit the bill and budget perfectly.
