Vintage Pre-Owned Beautiful Black Lidded Cloisonne Potiche (Jar) with Flowers and Blue Bird; 7-1/8 inches tall (with lid) and 3-7/8 inches wide with a 2-1/8" Diameter Top (lid off) and 2" Diameter Base -- Gold Tone Cloud Diaper PAttern in Black Background with Detailed Floral and Blue Bird Motif -- Hand Made in China; estimated Post 1940 (perhaps older) -- Good to very Good with a small area of missing top enamel (colors and wiring still true) affecting 3 leaves in the left front center 5 green leaf pattern -- Shows normal period imperfections and signs of use as is expected for the age of these orignal, hand made vases -- No enamel loss, chips, cracks, dents, dings, etc. to Cloisonne other than the imperfection noted above -- Brass Base and Rim show normal aging and signs of gentle use -- There is a white label with red lettering stating "Made in China" attached to the deep blue enameled bottom of the potiche -- Please study the numerous photos we have provided and contact us with questions.
