A very quick and easy reference,
This review is from: Collecting & Completing Your GI Joe Figures and Accessories (Paperback)
My son and I use this book all the time. When I need a quick reference to any Joe, this is the book I generally grab. It's easy to find and quick to look up. This book is small enough to grab and flip through to find and locate a completed figure.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a very easy reference guide for completing your GI JOE collection.

This is not a good Joe book,
This review is from: Collecting & Completing Your GI Joe Figures and Accessories (Paperback)
I just got my book in the mail and boy was I disappointed. I have gotten many collector books over the years for many different topics, but this book is not worth the paper it is printed on. Don't buy it and here is why. All of the illustrations are tiny. I don't mean small, I mean tiny. It is difficult to even make out the faces of the figures. Secondly, the printing is terrible. It looks like it was printed on regular white, not glossy, paper with an old inkjet desktop printer with the heads out of alignment. Every illustration is blurry and low resolution and even some of the text was blurry also. And third, the book is not laid out very well so it is hard to tell the date of the figures to find the one you are looking for, and there are no page numbers either. I plan to send it back.

I thought I had completed my collection years ago, but my friends proved me wrong, I am so upset but excited at the same time, upset I was wrong but excited that I can continue looking for GI Joe stuff. My hat is off to you Chris. This book is worth so much more then $30 to me.

My husband is a huge G.I Joe collector, our house was robbed and we have been trying to find all the figurines & accessories that go along with them. This arthor is a genius. My husbands 50th birthday is coming up & thanks to him I have been able to find almost all of them. I can not wait to see the look on his face. I highly recommend this book for all those who know what they are looking at & those who just don't understand but love someone who does.

This is 24 pages.
This is not worth $30. Even inside, there is a order form to order it for $10. If you are looking for a quick guide, something to keep in the car when you go hunt for Joes, this is the book. Very quick and easy, here's the picture of the figures with the accessories and that's it. No vehicles. For $10, this would've been worth it. So I suggest buying this book, but for $10 from the actual people that made it. James DeSimone.

Waste of paper. If you are looking for a real guide written by real collectors:
The Ultimate Guide to G.I. Joe 1982-1994: Identification and Price Guide (Ultimate Guide to G.I. Joe 1982-1994: Identification & Price Guide) All Chris did was scan the existing reference material, add a couple of fluff "articles", and then attached his name in front of the legendary James Desimone. Not sure why he allowed this to happen but I am willing to bet it was because he loves GI Joe so much. Waste of money when the The Ultimate Guide to G.I. Joe 1982-1994: Identification and Price Guide (Ultimate Guide to G.I. Joe 1982-1994: Identification & Price Guide) is a much better value with much more insightful information, better pictures and not a cheap knock off.

Great guide, very useful,
This review is from: Collecting & Completing Your GI Joe Figures and Accessories (Paperback)
This book is great as a reference guide to Joe figures with some additional articles sprinkled in. Everything is there. Every weapon and every figure that has been produced is accounted for. The book does not include the vehicle items: tanks and air planes etc. It is strictly figures. With over a thousand figures that may have added a number of pages. Still, I have used the first two editions of this book so much that the pages have worn to shreds. I was trying to buy a second copy of the original book and stumbled across the update. I was excited to see someone actually catalogue all the figures since 1994 as well as those from 1982 to 1994. I hope that Chris and James continue the books well into the future as more figures are produced.
