Buy this CD.If you have scrolled this far down the page, you are obviously interested enough to be serious about this genre. I therefore say - you MUST buy this CD. The "Briggs Fair" alone is worth the price, I'd pay half as much again for their recording of the Turtle Dove. Such a beautiful clear tenor voice, perfect tuning, not too fruity, not too dry. Add to this truly glorious phrasing and overall shape, and the unteachable sense of the shape of the music, and you have an almost impossibly good combination. The first time you hear this disc you will fall in love with it. You will have to buy it, if it's not yours already. Don't waste time. Addict your friends. Get it NOW! |
