As a fountain pen collector, I bought the book to add to my collection. It reflects the publishing skills of many years ago. It is difficult to read and view the pictures because of the print style and face. Other newer books on this subject benefit from improved publishing techniques. Also, the value of fountain pens has gone up, but the process for checking the quality has remained basically the same. This makes the book worth adding to your collection.
