She sings like an angel although after listening to Santa Baby I'd say she is equally good at singing both "naughty and nice." While it is a collection of songs, the album comes across with remarkable consistency as if all the songs were done at the same time. Music to be moved by, to lose yourself in, to share. Yes, angelic, remarkable, moving...

My favorite female vocalist of the past few years. This is a fantastic collection of her most outstanding songs. A musical pioneer that refuses to be strapped into any one genre. I kept trying to place her into one until I realised, that's not at all what shes about. These titles take you places you forgot were there, places of love, wonderment and despair at times; you don't even have to leave your chair. This is the music for the very late winter nights, when all is still and you gaze out and wonder. This is the music for the times when you touch base with a few friends that you dare to be real with. This is the music for a Christmas season that makes you smile and helps you lighten up. It's all here. I hope to hear more of you Ms. Basinet very soon.
