As much as her mother was an icon of French music of the 20th century, Jacqueline is more listenable and accessible. Her voice is lovely and pure. Her range does her well, and she is not locked into one or two musical styles. Her songs can be played for hours without becoming tiresome or overwhelming. As I was unfamiliar with her work before taking a chance on this album, I was very pleased with both the quality and quantity of tracks. Boyer can be listened to every day, with ease. A week without Jacqueline Boyer would not seem complete.
