Since Amazon has been lacking in giving details of this set, i shall do so.

This is a 3 CD box set released in 2006. It contains Elvis' first three albums on RCA. Each one came out individually in 2005, and RCA/BMG used DSD remastering to bring out new life in these recordings. None of these tracks have ever been heard as good as this. With the bonus tracks on each disc, you essentially get every song Elvis recorded during his first 2 years recording for RCA (1956-1957). If you want further details or reviews, you can check them out individually under each title's Amazon entry. So, if you are interested in getting all three albums, get them in this box set, as they're much cheaper than if you bought them individually.

This set is composed of three indivdaul cds:Elvis Presley ,Loving You, Elvis.The covers are the replicas of the orginal albums.Each one sporting the orginal tracks, layout and 6-8bonus tracks.The Cd's themselves are replicas of the orginal vinals.These songs cover movie music,R&B,rock,country,ballades.Showing off his incredible rang of vocal talent.Off the "Loving You" Album-is a song called"One night of Sin"-I was not familuar with this song ,and found it amusing how this song is basically "One night with you"(not in this set)-Just reworded in key locations,but borrowing a majority of the same lyrics and rythem.Some other things I noticed a few other tracks sound like Elvis and the band were having too much fun in the studio.The recordings are clean and clear.I rate this album set at 4.5.

When your not enjoying this 56 tracks that spand mostly his early years,you can keep them in The Collection Gray Box.

this is a great album set to own--it includes alternate versions, such as "One night of Sin" to the same tume as "One night with You". My four-year old granddaughter will be in a recital, in which they dance to "blue suede shoes". After I bought this album, I bought the DVD of "Jailhouse Rock". Now she wants me to play those songs every time we are in the car, and you should see her dance to it and lip-sync the words. I already own just about eveything Elvis recorded,but I did not know about the alternates. My six-year old granddaughter asks me to play "Big boss Man" over and over. A new generation to love the king.
