this cd is of gary in the early eighties when he had a hard rock edge to his music. the last 5 songs on this cd were recorded live and all are very good. the only reason for the 4 stars is some of the studio stuff is not quite up to par for me, but for the most part the disc is very good. don't expect many blues numbers from this cd, as this is mainly his harder edged stuff !! i guess this comes closer to 4.5 stars. if you liked gary in his early years get this cd, if you like his slow and bluesy material you better pass !!
