I heard this CD playing in a store while visiting in Kailua,Oahu,Hawaii recently. I had to have it, however they didn't have "Collection" in stock so I bought "In the Name of Love" by HAPA. These guys have the most wonderful blend of harmony I have heard in a long time! I fell in love with their music. I especially love "Pu'uanahulu". I never really listened to Hawaiian music before hearing this CD.

I have to say, if you've ever been to Hawaii, and really want to go back (but don't have the cash) listening to Hapa is the next best thing. These guys are amazing. I would also recommend Hapa's self-titled first CD "Hapa."

Fantastic Guitar solos and hawaiian vocals. Relaxing easy listening music memories of Hawaii. Highly recommend Hapa's CD's. If you like Hapa also try Olomama

My wife introduced me to Keli'i and Barry when we lived on Oahu and she worked at Sea Life Park. They played there and had just won the HAKU award for best duo. They just mesmorized the people with their unusual style of play. We have all their CD's see them whenever they come to San Diego. If you love great voices and wonderful guitar, any HAPA CD is great.

After hearing a selection by Hapa else where I bought 3 CD's to study the style and variety of performances. This CD gives a good variety, but is not as enjoyable for me as the "Maui" CD by Hapa.

Hapa has put out some amazing work ... and some less than amazing work. In order to make this a true "Collection" they needed to pull from every disc, including those that were less than amazing. You won't be disappointed in Hapa, but if you want the best, get the self-titled disc.

If you enjoy island music and beautiful harmony, this is the one to buy. I won't try to pronounce the Hawaiian names of the songs, but I will say it is all pleasing to the ears. This CD is a collection of songs from their other albums, and I would venture to say, it is the most popular songs that made it to this musical anthology. HAPA is a good, inexpensive way to enjoy the serenity and wonderful talents of Hawaii. A good one - buy it, and play it at your next luau.

Most of the songs are in Hawaiian and I don't understand a word, but the emotion in the voice speaks to me regardless. I actually prefer those songs to the english ones, which I skip through to get to the Hawaiian ones. Hands down the most beautiful male vocals I have ever heard. I normally like rock, but the haunting Hawaiian vocals of these guys just melts me. I lost my first HAPA Collection CD and missed it so much I bought another one.

I fell in love with this group when someone shared their music with me and then a couple years later, I also had the delightful chance to see them in person in Seattle! This CD represents beautiful warm harmonies and soothing melodies along with some fun guitar and drumming. I have played it over and over again since buying.
