Grammy-nominated Josh Groban is a global phenomenon with 25 million album sales behind him, yet in the UK his adoration is limited to those in the know. That adoration is set to spread to his widest audience to date when he issues 'A Collection' on December 1st on 143 Records / Reprise.

Still only 27, 'A Collection' highlights Josh Groban's undeniable talent and the songs that have made him a household name in America. The album includes Josh's version of 'You Raise Me Up', the first version of the song to have become a major hit before it was later covered by Westlife, 'Anthem', recorded for live as a special anniversary performance of Chess at the Royal Albert Hall and 'To Where You Are', that he performed before a global audience at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert.

'A Collection' also features a live version of 'Weeping' recorded with Soweto Gospel Choir at the Mandela Concert in Hyde Park and fan favourites 'Oceano' and 'In Her Eyes'.

Released ahead of Christmas, it's fitting that 'A Collection' also features a second CD highlighting festive songs such as 'Silent Night', 'Little Drummer Boy' and 'Ave Maria'.

Josh Groban's three studio albums to date - 'Josh Groban' (2001), 'Closer' (2004) and 'Awake' (2006) - have all peaked within the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 as he has accumulated 25 million album sales. His popularity is also evidenced through the additional success of three live albums ('Josh Groban in Concert', 'Live At The Greek' and 'Awake Live') and the Christmas set 'Noël'. The continued sales success of 'Awake' and 'Noël' made Groban America's biggest selling artist of 2007.

Josh has assembled a great collection here! All my favorite favorites are here except Gira con Me. I bought it for the new songs, Weeping and Anthem! When I make my own playlists of Josh, they look a lot like this collection! I'm really happy he included Per Te, because our little international group, called the Per Te Cafe, raises funds for Josh's foundation. So he not only provides a glorious voice that takes our breath away, but he inspires us to give back. His positive influence is being felt world-wide, by children in need. So purchase this CD because it's good for your soul, and if you are so moved, help Josh's foundation rescue children. It's all good, and I am so thankful Josh exists!

I was so glad to see this collection available. It's a great set of Josh's songs-including holiday music. A must have.

I had neglected to explore the talent and work of Josh Groban until very recently. I was listening to the radio one day when this most sublime and heavenly male voice came on, singing one of the most movingly beautiful songs I have ever heard. The song was 'February Song'. Who is that singing I wondered?, 'Oh my god, what a gorgeous voice!'... Josh Groban? I explored him further on line and then realized he was the one who sang 'You Raise Me Up', which was big in the charts a few years ago here in Australia. I wasn't familiar with his other work however, so I decided to give this 'Collection' a try.
I bought it mainly because I knew it had 'February Song',and thought a compilation would be a good introduction. There are many other many beautiful tracks here though and Josh does not disappoint. His smooth baritone and vocal range are just superb, and he brings such genuine feeling and sensitive interpretation to his songs/singing. I am now a fan and will be sure to add a couple more of his CDs to my collection. A truly major singing talent, combining his classical training with contemporary style in effortless, flawless fashion. But track 2 'February Song' will always be my favourite, I can listen to it over and over again, stunning!

I especially love the Italian cuts on this CD - but with his voice he can sing anything and it pleases. Love it. The Christmas CD is particularly nice as well. New in package, shipped carefully and quickly.

I had a good experience with the A Collection cd by Josh Groban. He had picked these songs for the cd himself and this gave me the insight into his views and tastes. A very good compilation of his works. My first purchase of his works.

He can take an operetta song and make it sound like angels or take a modern day song and make it sound even better than the original artist! I Bless God for his incredible talent.

From the first day I heard Josh Grobin sing, he has never failed to lift my spirits and take me places I otherwise would not experience. This 2CD collection is a compilation, but it still excites with a heaven given voice.

There aren't words to describe how beautiful this CD is! From the perfection of the music to the picture insert, this CD is a classic!

Enough already Josh, get to work and do something new! Sitting idle is the best way to be forgotten and with your talent the world would be missing out on one of the greatest tenors of the second half of the twentieth century. You will notice that I said nothing about the twenty first because the jury is still out. Don't let yourself be forgotten.
As far as I am concerned you will be one of the greatest of all time if you continue because the older you get the more full and rich your voice becomes. I could listen to you singing a shopping list in any language. Just try to lessen up on the pop and try more opera (popra). Just get to work!
