The Santana fan will easily find a plethora of albums available to choose from. This set, however, is essential for for the Santana fan's music library.

This set contains the digitally remastered first three Santana albums, including what many believe, including myself, Santana's best early album, ABRAXAS.

The accompanying literature also gives a brief insite into the history of the group, explaining their debut at the Fillmore West in 1968, their successful merging of rock & roll, R & B, jazz and latino rhythms, and how the band shaped up and impact each member had on its early sounds.

The group that made ground breaking music that had no name produced two platinum albums and three hit singles in its first three years and you can have it all in one complete set.

This CD compilation of Santana's first three albums puts the lie to the oft-quoted title of greatest American band given to the Beach Boys and makes the case that Santana and the Allman Brothers are the true heirs to the title.

this set is not an introduction to SANTANA, but is the core of their work. If rhythmandsong is your thing, buy this set.

The music get 5 stars, but the package never arrived. The vendor did refund the $ promptly. The shipment was lost in the mail.
