Shakin' Stevens is British most succesful singer of the 80's
with several number ones on the UK charts and the rest of
Europe. As a rock & roll revival artist I first saw him
interpreting young Elvis at a theatre in London back in 1978.
Only 2 years later he was a superstar. This collection holds
all his important hits between 1980 and 2004. Fantastic recording
quality this is a must for all who love Rock & Roll and great
ballads. Well known songs like "This ole house, Green Door,
I'll be satisfied, It's Late and Rockin`Good Way with Bonnie
Tyler together with other 20 great originals. It`s really worth
every penny of it. Better quality recordings are impossible.

The word 'genius' is thrown around all too easily these days but few would deny it sits very comfortably on Stevens shakin' shoulders. If the youth of today stopped listening to 50 cent and gave stuff like this a chance there might be some hope for them.

I became aware of Shakin Stevens in the mid 80's and fell in love with his music, sadly it is rare to find it available. And cassette tapes wear out quickly with a lot of play.
I was extremely pleased to find this CD as it contained my favorite songs as well as some new ones I'd never heard before.
This is a wonderful CD and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes Shaking Stevens or his style of music.
Since this purchase, at least 2 of my friends have also ordered the CD!
