5.0 out of 5 stars Better in person, December 3, 2001

I didn't want to buy this doll until I saw it in person. It has a more dramatic effect when you can see the ice tiara and flamboyant pose. Truly pretty in blonde or African American versions --I have both.

5.0 out of 5 stars A beauty!, December 1, 2001

This review is from: Collector Edition Barbie Salt Lake City Fire & Ice Doll (Toy)
This is one of the most beautiful of the reasonably priced collector dolls. Her outfit is glamorous and sexy, but not vulgar. This is one case where the African American version is the better choice. It sets off the colors better and the tiara/crown of "ice" looks great against black hair. I think she is a good investment and if you collect Barbies, you will be sorry one day if you have not gotten her.

This is a lovely Barbie Doll that commemorates the Salt Lake City Olympics. Quite different! Not a toy. Made for collectors.
