New to the internet, recently I purchased Nancy's book. I found it to be the best tool of information I have. It is easily understandable for a novice like me. I have collected for years but this book opened up a new world by helping me to understand all aspects of buying,selling, and trading on the internet. Her book saved me hours of time trying to figure out things that were new to me. I recently gave her book to two friends of mine who are very experienced net surfers and they agree, this book covers it all. I highly recommend it to both sides of the fence. Novices/Experienced

This was the perfect book for what I needed. I wasn't comfy with sending things through the mail to people from the Internet but Hix's book helped get me over the initial qualms. I recommend it to anyone whose going to use the Internet for collecting.

I wish I had this book about 6 months ago when I started buying off the internet. The information provided in this book has helped me understand and get a handle on all the terms and procedures in auctions and in trading. I believe that I have become a better bidder and trader after reading this book. I'm going to use this book to design my own homepage which will look great following Nancy's step-by-step procedures. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in buying, selling, or trading collectibles over the internet. A great investment for any collector!!!!

Nancy's book is filled with excellent information for the novice Internet buyer, seller, and trader. Her personality permeates the book, making it a very pleasant read. My one criticism is the type-font, which I found too crowded and a bit difficult for 50-year-old eyes to read! Other than that, she's done a fabulous job!

This book gives a good overview of internet trading. There is information for the beginner as well as for the more advanced user, the buyer as well as the seller.

It reviews collecting in general and then goes on to tell how to purchase those items you wish to collect on the internet. There is information on internet etiquette and communication. It is written in language that is easy enough to understand, so that even the novice will not be intimidated.

Lastly, there are some great hints and easy to follow instructions to creating your own internet site. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who plans to do much buying or selling on the internet.

This book was a pleasure to read and follow thru with good examples, diagrams, and stories. If anyone needs to learn about the internet and trading on the internet, this is the book for you.

Alot of helpful hints.........especially for novice like me. Turn to it all the time for help, it is the computer bible for me!!! :-)

This book is over 2 and a half years old. Its information is outdated and unusable.

This book was very helpful to me in building a home page and entering auctions on eBay. Most of the Internet auction books cover only eBay, but this one talks about how other sites work too. It was fun to read and easy to understand, even for someone not familiar with computers like me. I collect Charming Tails and Harmony Kingdom.

I wish I had this book when I started buying and selling collectibles on-line. There is a lot of information, presented in a simple, easy-to-understand manner. It allows the novice computer user to utilize all the resources of the Internet to pursue their collecting interests. Regardless of your computer expertise, or your knowledge of what you collect, you will learn how to manage yourself in auctions, trades, and buying and selling between collectors in a professional and safe manner. It also shows the etiquette of on-line discussions through chatrooms and bulletin boards. The Internet can be a strange and unusual place, and this book helps show you around before you get involved, and can steer you in the right directions once you do.
