Gaston's second book, new information, with 7 colored pages of marks, August 31, 2010
This review is from: The Collector's Encyclopedia of R.S. Prussia (Hardcover)
This is Gaston's second series, book copyright 1986.
The preface, as always is the case with Gaston's books,
adds greatly to the entire information this book offers.
Following is:
1. New and revised historical information, (6 pages)
2. Mold identification chart, (2 pages)
3. Suggested chronology (revised) of R.S. and E.S. Schlegelmilch marks, (1 page)
4. Marks reprinted from 1st edition, (7 pages, full color,
plus one page fake and misleading marks)
5. 647 full colored photos, many showing multiple items.
6. Index for named molds and decoration themes.
7. The price guide is the last 5 pages.
There is much additional information not included in her first book,
and these items aren't repeats.
This is a valueable addition for a good library on R.S.Prussia
