Cindy Sabulis is the author of four books on doll collecting; The Collector's Guide to Dolls of the 1960s and 1970s, The Collector's Guide to Dolls of the 1960s and 1970s Volume II, and The Collector's Guide to Tammy, the Ideal Teen (co-authored) all published by Collector Books. Her fourth doll book, Tammy Rarities From Around the World (co-authored) is now available (May 2011).
After graduating summa cum laude with a BS in computer science, Cindy worked full time as a programmer in the corporate world. Her days were spent in the computer field, but evenings and weekends she was freelance writing for magazines and newspapers as well as running a part-time vintage doll and toy business. She eventually left the corporate world to expand her business and pursue writing full time.
In addition to doll books, Cindy also writes young adult novels and is a member of the Society of Children Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). For fifteen years she served as an adviser and contributing writer and photographer for the yearly price guide books Garage Sale and Flea Market Annual and Schroeder's Collectible Toys.
